What is working or not ?

Re: OpenBSD 4.6
I would also like to know the answer to this question.
Specifically, I would like to know whether OpenBSD supports the NIC chipset in fitPC2i which is Realtek 8111c. Tried googling it, but got mixed results.
Thanks in advance, Ido.

Re: OpenBSD 4.6
I don't know, but I plan on finding out once mine arrives in a week or two. I'll also be testing FreeBSD 8 on it.
Will post my results.

Re: OpenBSD 4.6
Success with OpenBSD 4.6 32 bit. Both nics and the wireless were detected and seemed to work. I did not test X or sound.
I had some issues with FreeBSD 8.0, but I think they were the result of an old gpart scheme on the drive, and/or some strangeness with 8.0's installer. I'm installing 7.3 on the machine now and it seems to work, at least the nics do.

Re: OpenBSD 4.6
Ah, there was a bios option I had to tweak, something about the hard drive was set to DOS. Setting that to Other got me past the seg fault w/FreeBSD 8.
Re: OpenBSD 4.6
Thank you very much! I'll be ordering my fitPC2i very soon!
Re: OpenBSD 4.6
Can I get a confirmation on that audio/video works properly?
Re: OpenBSD 4.6
Video will probably not work, as the gma500 drivers are closed source and even with linux they are poor supported. If you only need basic 2d via vesa mode, you should be okay. Can I get a confirmation on that audio/video works properly?
