Hi all,
I would like to know if there is some recommended 4G modem (preferably for European frequencies) that I can use with this FaCET card: https://fit-iot.com/web/product/minipcie-fc-cem/
Thanks

I am expecting a M.2 4g modem, not an external one
Re: Any recommended 4G Modem
Unfortunately we didn't qualify nor offer an M.2 cellular modem for this FACET.mvives wrote:I am expecting a M.2 4g modem, not an external one
for the FC-PCI, we offer the SIM7100E/A.
Re: Any recommended 4G Modem
I am looking at building a router with this.
I'm having trouble deciding between the FC-CEM and the FC-PCI. What are the pros/cons of either, something I might not of thought of etc.
The idea is that LAN 1 will go to my modem, and LAN2 will go to my switch. It would be nice to have an LTE modem as fallback for when the modem link goes down.
For what it's worth I am from Australia so we use these bands:
Do both come with a modem? What sorts of limits would picking either the FC-PCI or FC-CEM have? etc.
I should also add I do not intend to use WiFi on this as I have access points already internally behind the router.
I got to the point of placing my order and then I couldn't decide on which I wanted to go with - so I haven't ordered yet.

- 5 (850MHz),

@CW99:
Using FC-PCI and FC-CEM is mainly for cell modems but not only.
fitlet2 can be configured with FC-PCI + mini PCIe Modem (Simcom 7100E/A), but Compulab does not offer an M.2 Modem with the FC-CEM. Going with the FC-CEM would require to source an M.2 key-B cell modem separately.
