Can the bracket be fitted any any other angle than that in the picture?
(I want my FitPC mounted at 90 degrees anti-clockwise compared to bottom photo, to keep the dust out of the sockets of the front - assuming I ever get the HDMI to work on the TV - see posting elsewhere.)
Also if my Vesa mount is not 100mm pitch, do I just end up using just the one bolt to attach it?

Sure, you can use any two adjacent VESA mounting holes to mount sideways.
Do not mount with a single screw. Either use the slits for wall mounting with 2 screws or drill another screw hole to fit custom size.

We have been waiting to see these for sometime. We have been using FitPC as client machines for hooking into Virtual Machine systems. We have (and still do) use KVM extension over Cat-5. The Fit-PC is actually smaller than the existing KVM receivers, which are Velcro'd to the back of the monitors. As we are using more and more virtual machines, we needed an equivalent solution. The beauty is that each Cat-5 link can now be used by more than one machine.
Now the problem. Our monitors use the VESA mount for their stands. Therefore on the desktop we cannot use the VESA mount bracket for the FitPC as shown.
To be honest I would have expected this to have been though of, and an alternative bracket produced. This would be an extended version of the one shown, such that the plate can be bolted between the monitor stand and the VESA mount, and extends to one side, where the FitPC can be clipped into place.
Can this be looked into please?

This has been looked into, and dismissed.
If we place a 40mm thick bracket between the display and the stand, the center of gravity dislocates and there is a risk of the display falling over by its own weight.
The chosen solution was to make slits in the bracket that allow screwing it on the wall or on the stand itself. Only 2 screws are needed.
With your application I would do something else - I would use a strong adhesive to attach the bracket to the back of the display, or use 2 short self tapping screws to secure the bracket on the back of the display. Then you can easily mount/dismount the fit-PC2 to the bracket.

I don't understand why you think a displacement of 40mm is necessary.
Take the plate you have designed, which must be a 2mm thick at most yes?
Extend the plate sideways.
One end will have four holes for the VESA mount, and at only 2mm thick can be easily sandwiched between the back of the display and its desk stand.
The other end can have the clip-on arrangement for the FitPC.
As the VESA mount is square this gives four possible orientations for the bracket, placing the PC above, below, to the left or right of the VESA mount.
Seems perfectly simple to me.
The Fit-PC itself does not need to be between the stand and the screen, does it?

Does anyone know which dealers are selling the mounting bracket? I searched the list of dealers' websites but couldn't find anything.

Mounting brackets are usually not made to be dangling 15cm from their fastening screws.Extend the plate sideways.
If you are looking for such a solution, you could make a 25x12 cm 2mm sheet metal plate with 6 holes and fasten one side to the display and the other to the existing mounting bracket.

Have anyone succeeded in being able to lock the fitpc2 on the vesa mount ? It would be nice if there where a kensington hole in the cabinet.
