I just got a FitPC2 (Windows 7) through Amazon. I love it, though I wish it had auto-on, since it's for a remote setup.
I need some help getting video working for my setup. I'm using the DVI to VGA converter from FitPC with an active VGA Cat5 video extender. The Cat5 extender does not provide Edid. After booting I see the Bios screen and the "windows is loading" stuff but then the screen goes black and my monitor says "no video" instead of the windows log in page. So clearly Windows 7 is setting the driver in an bad state, since prior to it's loading everthing is working
How can I get the driver to put out the video resolution and refresh that I want?
Thanks,
Bruce

Re: Video Help Needed
You may either boot in VGA mode (F8 on startup) or unload the Intel driver to have the default VESA driver.

Thanks Irad!
How do I unload the Intel driver to get the VESA default driver?
