Thank you for your reply.
You want to say that the PC with no problems Full HD can play video?
I have not found a video on the Internet where a play on PC2 Fit a Full HD video!
Voxe can you tell me maybe make a video?
A short video goes no problem.
What about the temperature?
How hot is the device?
And nothing makes the hard drive?
Do you have the Fit PC 2i with 2 GB Ram and 1.6 Ghz?
Thanks in advance
Nicole

Re: Small question about the FitPC 2i
It can play fullhd 1080p videos using video acceleration. You want to say that the PC with no problems Full HD can play video?
Windows 7 is currently the best supported OS for the fitpc2, you wont have any trouble getting hd-videos to work. IMHO are the needed drivers downloaded via Windows Update automatically. Windows XP works somewhat, too. However, you need to order the Windows XP Version of fitPC2, because they include special decoders not available to the public. Don't know about Windows Vista. Is it possible to play with the PC Full HD video in Windows?
You are mixing container formats and video stream formats. The video acceleration in fitPC2's GMA500 supports mpeg2, vc-1, mpeg4/h264 and wmv9 video material if I remember intels specs corretly. Quoting the fitpc2 website: "Full hardware video acceleration of H.264, MPEG2, VC1, and WMV9" Formats not supported by the video acceleration can be decoded too. Most sd videos will just work, however I haven't tried all of those container formats and video codecs out there...Divx, avi and co go anyway right?
I don't get the point on providing a low-res video of a pc playing fullhd content, but there are some samples out there.I have not found a video on the Internet where a play on PC2 Fit a Full HD video!
It runs really hot. This wont damage the hardware, but you should make sure the unit is placed correctly and not burried deep down a media rackWhat about the temperature?

On the shell you can touch it with your hands without problems. However, you don't want to have it touched by small childs. How hot is the device?
I don't get it. Please rephrase your sentence. The included HDD should be fine. If you are planning to use a custom HDD, that's fine too. There is a maintenance opening you can use without voiding warranty. However, you should check space, power consumption and thermal qualities of your HDD.And nothing makes the hard drive?
I have the original fitPC2 with just 1GB RAM and 1.6GHz, so the 2GB unit will do even better.Do you have the Fit PC 2i with 2 GB Ram and 1.6 Ghz?
Re: Small question about the FitPC 2i
Thanks for the quick response.
Is it possible to fit PC2i connect to an AV receiver?
So the sound of music will reflect on 5.1?
Is that possible?
Or how can I play the sound the best?
Over HDMI it will not do so.
Is that right so far?
Sorry for my bad English.

Re: Small question about the FitPC 2i
Yes, of course. You can do that as long the receiver has suitable input jacks. Is it possible to fit PC2i connect to an AV receiver?
The fitPC2i has a combined digital/analog audio output. Analog should be standard stereo, but the digital out is a 5.1 Channels S/P-DIF. Both use the same 3,5mm TRS jack.So the sound of music will reflect on 5.1?
That's correct. The HDMI connector outputs only DVI, which is the same signal as HDMI minus audio.Over HDMI it will not do so.

My Receiver has these connections.

Thank you very much

Re: Small question about the FitPC 2i
The orange RCA jacks should be spdif. There are cables to connect 3,5mm TRS to RCA. However, I don't know if you can select different sources for video (HDMI) and audio (SPDIF) with your receiver. You should check the manual.
