FitVGA and Monitor Problems

Post by majorpr13 »

Hello,
I have tested my FitVGA with some VGA monitors and it appears to work correctly. However,
when plugging into a PYLE monitor, the monitor continuously flashes very quickly on and off...
Yet, the monitor does work correctly with laptops, and I have tested the monitor with
the FitVGA and a HDMI laptop and that appears to work...

The problem occurs with FitPC-FitVGA-Pyle Monitor....

Why is this and are there any corrections??

Thanks,

To check if that is an OS related issue, can you please enter the BIOS menu and report if the monitor keeps flashing? Just hold the F2 button during the power on sequence

No, the monitor does not operate or flicker when entering the BIOS...

Please try to use this driver http://www.fit-pc2.com/download/win7-dr ... 101011.zip. Be sure to uninstall any previous video drivers

I uninstalled previous video drivers and installed the one that you had recommended and that completely shut down my video driver so that when I rebooted windows the monitor went into power save.

Thus I had to reboot into safe mode and reload the original driver. Any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I even soldered up my own VGA cable disconnecting the comms lines to see if that would help any and nothing.
