Hi,
I made a quick test some weeks ago, turned on user and supervisor passwords.
Now when I tried to get supervisor access, unfortunately only the user passwords is working.
In other words, supervisor password forgotten
Is there a way to reset all the bios settings somehow?
Thank you!
István

Re: Howto hw reset bios settings?
As I read on the similar fit-pc3 topic on the forum, it should be a non-trivial task.
It is not a problem, but it would be nice to know, what to do.
I found the label on the board: RST_CMOS, but it has only holes, not jumper pins. (I measured 2.98V on them, so, it has battery connection, which battery not easily removable - I did not remove).
So, what's next?

Re: Howto hw reset bios settings? - SOLVED - important info
So, thanks for Gabriel, now it is clear, it is possible to reset the bios settings, but not the master password!
A big fat WARNING here: do not forget your bios master password, otherwise you have to RMA the unit.
