I tried to download the Intense PC BIOS ROM files at

http://fit-pc.com/wiki/index.php/Intense_PC_BIOS_Update

and WinZip is reporting that the downloaded file BIOS_251112.ZIP is corrupt.

I am unable to confirm your issue. Please try to use 7zip to extract compressed files

Thank you. 7zip worked to decompress the file "BIOS_251112.ZIP". However, the only extracted file was "BIOS_251112". The BIOS update procedure given at,

http://www.fit-pc.com/wiki/index.php/In ... IOS_Update

states to use win32-image-writer to prepare a bootable USB DOS image and then copy the following PC BIOS ROM files to the USB drive root directory,

CRX64.bin
DOSFL.BAT
DOSFLASH.EXE

however, these files were not extracted from "BIOS_251112.ZIP".

Can you assist with the correct procedure and file locations for updating an Intense PC PN: C2340-WB-FM4U?

I afraid your downloaded file corrupted. I have double checked the file, and it contains all the required files

I've tried three times to dowload and extract the file with the same result using 7zip. Not sure why it isn't working. I downloaded the file from the following link:

http://fit-pc.com/IntensePC/bios/BIOS_251112.ZIP

Another thing I noticed is that the download page at:

http://www.fit-pc.com/wiki/index.php?title=Download

has a link to the BIOS download at this page:

http://www.fit-pc.com/wiki/index.php/Latest_BIOS

but that page doesn't have anything to download.

Seriously? Why can't you just include an .exe file instead of all this "usb drive" image write stuff. I'm not comfortable with this level of software expertise, so not going to do it. I don't recall reading anywhere that I had to be this knowledgeable to own this computer.

I assume this will fix the computer's propensity to hang any time I have an external usb drive attached.

Let me know if you plan on a bios update download for normal people anytime soon. If not, I guess I'll pay to get it done - but not very impressed with this relatively primitive release format.
