I don't see the Serial number in BIOS. Can you add it?

I don't see the Serial number in BIOS. Can you add it?

The serial number is printed on a sticker on the bottom but I would like to retrieve it via Windows 7 and that usually comes from BIOS. Can you add that? When is the estimate month or quarter that a new BIOS will be available?
