IPC Pro turning off suddenly

I have an IPC Pro, which has worked fine for years, but now it is showing intermittent hardware problems: It sometimes suddenly powers off without warning, maybe 1-2 times per day or so, but sometimes it works again flawlessly for more than a week?

I have monitored temperatures and they seem fine in 50-60C range for the CPU cores. I also have replaced the power supply with another one, which did not make any difference.

Another problem, that might be related, is that the system sometimes refuses to wake up from sleep mode.

Only a disconnect from power brings it back to live from both situations.

Running Ubuntu 18.04 and latest BIOS updates

Anybody else seeing something similar and any ideas on how this could be fixed? Thanks.

Hi
I can recommend you to write us (fitpcsupport@compulab.co.il) with Serial Number of this device.
Then we will try to check what the problem is.

I did this already a while ago and got the reply below from you, so I was thinking maybe somebody here in the forum has some advice how to fix it.

"It is sad to inform you, but accordingly to the serial number your devices is not under support more than 2 years.
We can't provide support for such old devices, sorry. You can try to perform Troubleshooting Procedure: http://www.fit-pc.com/wiki/index.php?ti ... leshooting (perform BIOS reset), or try to update the BIOS :
http://www.fit-pc.com/wiki/index.php?ti ... _ROM_files
http://www.fit-pc.com/wiki/index.php?ti ... IOS_Update"

I have tried the BIOS reset procedure, but it did not help.

I see, sorry, let's wait, maybe someone else can help with this.
Look, device was manufactured in 28.11.2012, about 9 years ago. This is quite a serious age for such devices and, unfortunately, the problems described by you, it is quite natural ...
