Hello,
We've got a small fleet of IPC Pros and we're starting to see some of the CMOS batteries fail. I opened one of them up to find that it doesn't appear to be as simple as swapping in a new battery since the rechargeable Li-Ion is soldered to the board.
I don't mind a little soldering, but I haven't yet been able to find an exact replacement. Anyone know where to find the exact replacement battery assembly (battery + solder fins)?
Thank you.
CMOS Battery
Re: CMOS Battery
If the battery doesn't keep the RTC/CMOS data it probably need to be replaced. Please refer to CMOS battery facts here:

You may try to re-solder it or consider an RMA:

Re: CMOS Battery
Hi mbirger,
As I mentioned in my first post, I'd be comfortable doing the soldering. Can you tell me where to purchase the battery with the appropriate soldering fins?
Thank you,
