hi
i got a intense pc last week and now i try to connect a SSD to a eSATA port, but the disk does not show up. even if i boot up with the drive attached and go into the bios it does not show in there.
i tried to connect the ssd using the same esata connecter to another computer and that worked.
what can i do?

here is some follow up info:
my bios version is: CR_2.2.0.346 X64
i have loaded defaults in the bios to make sure it was not a setting i had changed that makes the problem.
the computer is the Intense PC Pro.
i run linux on it, but since the ssd does not show up in bios i do not think that have anything to do with it.

Have you provided external power supply to your SSD? Your other PC may feature eSATAp port, while IntensePC provide eSATA port.
You can find more at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ESATAp
