Issues with Wireless

Post by johnsandiford »

I recently bought a fit-PC2 Linux ON but I am having issues with the wireless. I cannot get any Linux OS to detect that it is there (Ubuntu 8.04, 9.04 or 9.10). I am running BIOS version as of July 21 2009. I cannot find any BIOS setting in case I was missing a setting to enable it and no light comes on for the wireless. Any suggestions or thoughts? Thanks very much.

If you follow manuals on our wiki - wireless works?

I have booted the recovery image from USB and no wireless there either. Has anyone got wireless working in 9.04 or 9.10? Any thoughts? Next step might be RMA

No good with the steps for Ubuntu 9.04 either unfortunately. Any other suggestions?

Try to install 8.04, if not working - RMA.

No luck with the recovery install either. I will arrange the RMA. Thanks for all your help.
