VGA Display set to 480x640

Post by mercycorps »

Before posting this, I searched through the forum and could not find anything that would help me.

I replaced the preloaded version of Ubuntu 8.04 with 9.04 and installed the display device driver. But it still had the VGA display set to 480x640.

Another issue is that sometimes it loses display signal as the Gnome starts to load. This issue is fixed if I unplug the power on both the LCD display and fitPC2.

I followed the guide: http://fit-pc2.com/wiki/index.php?title ... buntu_9.04 to re-install Ubuntu 9.04 but the issue remains the same.

Does anyone else experience the same problem? Is there any solution to this problem?

Try out 9.10 version with new drivers, seems they have better support for display detecting
Compulab's Linux support

Thank you for your reply. I will try out the 9.10 and post again if I still had problems.
