Not resuming from sleep

Post by rix0rrr »

My Linux Fit PC2 refuses to resume after I have suspended it. I hear the sound coming back on and the lights flicker for a bit, but after that nothing happens. Is there some setting I should tweak or some special --quirk flag I should pass to pm-suspend to make the sleep work properly?

I'm using a TV connected through an HDMI cable if that makes any difference...

Also the HDD can't be spun down with either noflushd or hdparm -Y :(

I'm having a similar problem: the display shuts down and refuses to resume--have to reboot to get it back (I can't get the disc to spindown either).

It is not the screen saver as that is a visual one (matrix waterfall); my screen just goes completely black. The OS is not hybernating as I can ssh into it and the IR is responding to commands. Just no video! I think I saw another thread about this but can't find it now.
