Is it possible to connect a DVB-S2 PCIe card via a mini PCIe bridge in one of the two slots, inernally? An example would be the Digital Devices DuoFlex S2 miniPCIe.
I wonder whether there is enough space inside, as I would like to use a fit-pc3 multimedia center without attaching a USB DVB receiver.
DVB-S2 on mini PCIe internally
Re: DVB-S2 on mini PCIe internally
There are 2 other concerns;
- Power usage
- External access

Re: DVB-S2 on mini PCIe internally
Thks for your thoughts!
I use a multiswitch to connect, I would not think there is the need to power the LNB through the card. The card specification does not say how much power the card needs by itself - it just says "very little" ...
The external F-connector would fit into the WiFi-antenna-hole, with a short cable to wherever the card is placed internally - if there is enough space for the cable. No idea though where to fit the 2nd connector, but I could also live without.
