VGA (or lack thereof)
VGA (or lack thereof)
I see in the specifications that the fit-PC3 has HDMI and Displayport, but no mention of VGA. Is it possible to use a Displayport to VGA adapter? If so, is 800x600 a possible resolution? My special application requires that specific resolution. Thanks!

Re: VGA (or lack thereof)
Hi there,
fit-PC 3 comes with an HDMI to DVI adaptor, so is it not possible to just extend the supplied adaptor with a DVI to VGA adaptor such as the one shown in the attatched image?
HDMI --> DVI --> VGA

Re: VGA (or lack thereof)
From this picture I can't tell if will suite or not. The adapter should convert a digital (HDMI/DVI) to an analog (VGA) signal. If this is only a mechanical adapter, then it will not work.

Re: VGA (or lack thereof)
Our customer wants to connect the Fit-PC3 video to the KVM switch they have.
Unfortunately, this switch supports only the VGA(analog) video input from the PC - not any kind of digital input the Fit-PC3 provides.
Can you suggest some solution for this?
I.e. some digital to analog conversion dongle which can provide the VGA signal to the switch?
The mentioned Fit-PC3 runs Linux - the stock Linux Mint witch is came with the product. If the stock Linux driver does not supports such a setup, can you advice of the needed tweakings?
Thanks.
Ilia.
