What does the different digits in the serial number represents? The format seems to be different from that of the fit-PC2.

I want to find out if I have the latest hardware revision of the Intense PC. How do I see that from the serial number?

You can check the revision from the BIOS menu, under the silicon information

Where exactly please? I can't find or determine any HW revision information under "silicon information".
My related post with the same question in a specific context: http://www.fit-pc.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=95&t=4880

Thanks,

If your Intense PC lack this information, then it has SB V1.1.

Dear Gabriel,

thank you for this information.
Does this mean, that according to http://www.fit-pc.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=98&t=4805 my device also only has limited msata compatibility?

If so, what does this mean exactly?
Could my problems with suspend to ram and warm restart described here http://www.fit-pc.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=95&t=4880 be related to this?
Also, when running linux (Ubuntu 13.04) from the msata disc, the system sometimes freezes completely when playing back full HD videos for a longer time, maybe related? In this situation I can only do a hard reset (can't even open a text terminal with ctrl+alt+f1). While running Win7 from the sata disc these freezes don't occur.

Thanks,
Hendrik

In the V1.1, several SATA instruction don't supported over the mSATA port, leading to the wake up issue from suspend state. Therefore, mSATA supported only on versions 1.2 and above.
We don't recommend the usage mSATA storage solutions on the previous SB versions.
