Are the cases metal or plastic?

Perhaps I missed it as I was browsing the specs, but I see that the FitPC3 is available in the orignal case (smooth) and a ribbed case. What's not clear is whether these are plastic or metal cases. Also, is the case designed to be mounted on a wall, or the back of a monitor? (ie. does it have mounting holes or slots on the bottom?)

It is die-casting metal hull and very solid.

The FitPC3 is in the die-cast aluminum shell. Vesa mount is in the middle of the implementation.
