Edge Computing Division Users Forum

I intend on installing XMBC onto a Ubuntu distro (probably 10.04 LTS when it comes out)
Has anyone tried setting it up? Otherwise I may start up a small blog about it...
if any mods reading this can think of a better place for this post please move it!

Recently I tried XBMC on Ubuntu Lucid.
Followed by instructions left here by user fly to install Ubuntu.

XBMC gui performance is quite nice.
Audio plays ok, but video was all in green colors until I setup XBMC option System->Video->Playback->Output to Basic (do not remember exact wording now).
I tried to play 720p, generally it was OK.
