This sounds like a real candidate for a Mythtv Frontend. Has anyone tested this with myth?

I am particularly interested in HD recording playback with myth. I suspect SD and DVD-resolution playback would be fine.

Re: Mythtv Frontend
Mythtv sounds like a good application for fit-PC2.
We do not adapt applications to fit-PC2. When fit-PC2 is available for sale there are sure to be users to try it.

Re: Mythtv Frontend
The fit-pc2 diskless looks like the perfect candidate for the mythbuntu, which can manage diskless front-end clients.
Are you able to say whether a port is currenty in active development/testing?
The only thing that would seem to be desirable for that configuration is wireless; or is that not possible/advisable for a diskless client?
Also, can HD be sent over 802.11b/g?
Will you make it possible to easily upgrade to 802.11n?

Re: Mythtv Frontend
Distributors will be able to offer any combination of WiFi and/or disk, so when Fit-PC2 is officially available in May, you can contact your local distributor to order WiFi+diskless version.
Re: Mythtv Frontend
So, has anyone tried MythTV on the fit-pc2? It sounds like it should work
without a problem under the pre-installed Ubuntu, but it'd be nice to hear
from someone who's already done it.

Hello.
I am also interested in using MythTV on a fit-PC2.
Especially since my VHS recorder died.
Nobody has tested?
Arrive there to play HD Video?
And record TV?

Did anyone get around to testing it by now?
