Is this a suitable drive:
Samsung 830 64GB 2.5" SATA 3 SSD for a FitPC3 PRO?
I'm not looking for a recommendation, just along the lines of whether it'll fit and has the right interface. The range gets a good review in this month's PC Pro.

Intel SSD 320 series 80GB works well in my Fit-PC3 Pro.

OK so if I'm using the fitPC3 LP, I can do that too right?
But how do I transfer the data onto the new disk? I would like to keep my Windows 7 license as well as the drivers, is it possible? How would you copy the files?

This depends on your Windows License type. Are you trying to transfer a system from another FitPC3?

I currently have a Hard Drive inside my fitPC3 and would like to switch it for a SSD. So I'm going to use the following tool to clone it:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/wind ... nd-restore
I'm finally going to use the following
2.5" 256GB SATA III SSD drive
Thanks.

It is hard to recommend any of the cloning tools, but I personally prefer the Microsoft imagex command line tool.

I bought the drive I referred to in the opening post. It fits like a glove. I built the machine as described in
this post and it's working just fine. I've attached a USB IR receiver to control it (with an RC6 remote) and I'm using a block-level iSCSI target on my Synology 411j as my main data store. I haven't finished setting it up but so far, everything is working.
