Is it possible to under clock the Fit PC3 Pro? I plan on using it as a music server, which really doesn't need that much power, but when doing updates and other maintenance or other uses, it would be nice to rev it back up to full speed.

Also, will the IR be enabled/fixed in a future BIOS update?

Finally, it it possible to remove the face module and just insert a blank plate?

From my understanding you may be able to use tools that work with other CPUs based on AMD's brazos core such as the Zacate (E-350) to undervolt and underclock. There's a tool on Windows called Brazostweaker, and on Linux you can use a tool called undervolt. Both specifically mention the Ontario CPUs used in the Fit-PC3. I used the latter myself with an E-350 system a while back with good results.

Underclocking from SW is straightforward.
Bear in mind that the dynamic power management is very good with Fusion - under light load the CPU may spend most of the time at P2 - 800MHz, so forced underclocking may not be necessary.

IR may not be fixed through BIOS update. We are still researching the interface issues.

It's possible if you have that plate. It will not look as good as the original.
