Hi,
I don't have any experience with IR devices but I would like to be able to use a remote for one of my planned Fit-PC3's which will be an Linux/XBMC box.
The official specifications don't mention which IR hardware will be included (current models ship completely without the IR part or it's just disabled in software?) so I'm not sure which remote to get. Any recommendations welcome!
Thanks
Consumer IR receiver
Re: Consumer IR receiver
Hello
You don't need to buy a special remote for the IR receiver. The idea is to use your existing remote, and to associate the remote's key's to desired pc's instruction.
This procedure is platform (OS) depended, but the concept is the same

Hello
We haven't tested this remote, but generally, any conventional IR remote should work with the IR reciever
