Want to use this as a media center pc.
I have a hd homerun prime with cable card.
Before I buy, need to be sure that the config will pass the digital cable test in media center (in extra library)
Thanks
Joel

I can confirm that it does. I just installed Windows 8 Consumer Preview and was able to add a 3 tuner HDHomerun Prime to Media Center using the Digital Cable Assistant. All went very well.
As I understand it, Windows 8 Consumer Preview uses the exact same version of Media Center as does Windows 7.
Only question I have is how to use the IR receiver. I'm about to post a new topic regarding that.

FYI: Unrelated to Fit-PC3 but it appears that the index/search function doesn't work in Windows 8 Consumer Preview 64-bit. I posed this question on a answers.microsoft.com and that was the response.
I'm still waiting for confirmation that 32-bit works but the poster specifically indicated 64-bit so I'm hopeful that it does.
This is a bug in Windows, not anything wrong with the Fit-PC3 but I wanted to pass it on to same you some grief if you decide to go with W8.
