How to install Windows XP from USB stick ?

Hi all,
I just get for test new FIT PC3 1.65Ghz, 2gb ram, 8gb ssd
For last two days I try to install Windows on it from USB - can't force it !?
I tried LInux Ubuntu and Knoppix for change and it install it for first time!!
I tried to install ISO to USB and make it bootable
as well I've read manny mauals online.
Still have some error 18 on txtsetup.sip - any ideas ?

Because of the way Windows XP handles USB drivers, it is not that simple to install it from a USB stick.
I would suggest installing Windows XP to the drive while it is connected to another machine you own which has a CD drive. After that, you can make the install generic and swap the drive to the fit-PC3 (there are guides on how to do this - it's how OEM's install all their machines with Windows during the manufacturing process). Bish bash bosh, you have a working XP install.

Can I remove HDD without voiding warranty?

I used this guide. Although it's in dutch, (Google translate might help) the screenshots will probably be enough to guide you through. If you want I can write it in english, but you'll have to be a little patient as I don't have too much time these days.

There is several unofficial guides and third party tools that do the job, but once again: their are unofficial and are unsupported.
