Please make coreboot (formerly known as linuxbios) availible, as well as documentation needed by users and/or OEMs to create their own setups.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coreboot

Then, implant not the smallest flash chips... so that some applications can even work without local disk! In the ideal case it would be a dual flash chip, so that one had the old version as a fallback. Hardware flash write protection would make evildoers jobless.

=> booting faster than you can stir you coffee makes ACPI useless, no need for BIOS/APM/ACPI/EFI kludge

Would for example make for a nice desktop client with huge ram and no disk (code serving from cheap NAS).

That way one would buy two NAS servers in different places of the house (mirroring the data for a backup), and several fitpc2 clients with no local storage to access the net.

And for the fit pc1. Is obsolete, and I need coreboot + tianocore to have efi, and usb boot (usb key). Coreboot + grub2 is usefull too.
