Hi

We use the Fit-PCi to interface with industrial equipment and one true serial port is not enough. Converting USB to serial is possible but not 100% reliable so I would like to see 3-4 true serial ports on the Fit-PCi. We are using Windows 8 on the Fit-PCi and it works very well and 4 true serial ports would be ideal for our uses.

The FACE Module concept introduced with fit-PC3 and Intense PC is meant to address the need for IO variation.

Currently CompuLab does not offer a FACE module with serial ports, but fit-PC3 LP with the dual mini-PCIe FACE module accommodated with multi-serial mini-PCIe adapters is likely to meet your needs.
