Hello,

I suggest you add a 15 minutes battery to prevent power cuts. It would make the computer even more reliable. Would be very useful for server and IP telephony applications !

But... wouldn't a UPS do that even better, and with more customizations possible?

Although I admit I've wished for 10 seconds of battery or ultra-capacitor power so I could swap the Fit-PC from a renewable battery energy system to a mains powered UPS without shutting down.

That would be a nice move to use this empty 2.5" sata slot.

I think it shouldn't cost a lot for the internal connector, next to the unused sata slot.
I guess the chipset already has batteries monitoring ability.

And the company would make money from those specific batteries
