Just wishing ...
1. As posted earlier, 802.11n (dual antenna connectors).
2. eSata port (real Sata, my assumption is Pata to Sata now).
3. If you could find the room, more Ethernet ports to use as Router without attaching a hub even if meant a different connector/adapter. Although with USB to Ethernet, OK, except slow speed.
4. Up to 4G memory.
5. 2 serial ports although not too important if use USB to Serial.
Thanks, ... Tim
New items in next Fit-PC2
Re: New items in next Fit-PC2
Hi tlpicke
I think your wishes are a bit out of scope of the FIT-PC2 concept, which is a computer the operates under 10 Watts.
1: You should be able to void the warranty and install your own 802.11n card, there are a number of these cards on the market that do not require antenna's.
2: This is a design / chipset flaw, that irads might be working on. However, others haven't really commented too much on performance issues. I think though, the focus is to expand the product line...
3: I'm sure if interest level is high, a design could be implemented, where multiple LAN ports could be implemented.
4: Might be tight, but there are some nettops that expand upto 4GB.
