Solved: Unable to install dhcp3-server on Linux Fit-PC2i

Here is my attempt to get and install this server :

Looking at the package repository, it appears that there is no dhcp3-server_3.1.2-1ubuntu7.1_i386.deb file but dhcp3-server_3.1.2-1ubuntu7_i386.deb (w/o ".1" before i386). Can you tell me where I can find a package server with the correct dhcp3-server ? ?

Hello,

Here is how I’ve solved my issue.

1- Using the graphical admin tool, I’ve de-installed packages dhcp3-client and dhcp3-common 3.1.2-1ubuntu7.1
2- With my favourite browser I’ve downloaded
3- http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/m ... 3_i386.deb
4- http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/m ... 3_i386.deb
5- http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/m ... 3_i386.deb
6- Then manually installed these 3 packages

# dpkg –I dhcp3*7.3*.deb

I’m OK now with my Fit-PC2i running as an AP and DHCP server. I’ve been a ble to connect my iPhone and Galaxy Android tablet.
