Upgrade to 11.04 Server - fit-PC no longer boots

Just a bit of a heads up.
I run Ubuntu server on my fit-PC2 and use it as a home server running a LAMP setup and Samba to share files over my small network.
I thought I would try upgrading my 10.10 server to the 11.04 release. The upgrade process seemed to run fine, but then after the final reboot I am left with a flashing cursor on the screen and the machine does not boot.
I have now tried installing the new version directly, rather than upgrading - same problem.
Back to 10.10 for me. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, I would be very happy to hear them.
Cheers
