I just install fresh Ubuntu 10.10 desktop edition. After some tweaks and tuning with graphical drivers all thing seems working, BUT
after pressing restart button on the gnome panel computer goes to resatrt but freeze after panel release... Is there some solution or workaround?
Best regards,

Restart does not work
Re: Restart does not work
I am having the same problem. After installing everything
as described from the japanese site mentioned in another post,
Ubuntu 10.10 works great. So well that I considered going back
to linux on fit-pc2 again. But since I cannot restart smoothly
(without pressing the on button for 3 seconds), it is still not
optimal. Unfortunately I have no answers, only the question:
Does anyone have a fix?

Re: Restart does not work
Yes, the problem is caused by the wlan driver. There is a thread on ubuntu:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour ... bug/662288
#25 worked for me (running kubuntu 10.10)
