No Sound in Windows 7 Pro

Post by dcipher »

I connected my Fit-PCi to my Panasonic TV I have video but no sound. Windows 7 has identified the sound device as a Digital SPDIF and when I play a sound I get a buzzing sound on the TV. The panasonic TV is configured to accept sound from a component and I plugged the SPDIF cable into the RCA connector to the right speaker (I have tried left speaker also)

I have tried the win_audo_100705 Real Tek drivers but I do not get even a buzz using them. My Fit-PCi is a D2G-C1600-W Intel Atom Z530.

Any suggestions how to get sound working?

Thanks
Simon

SPDIF cable delivers digital audio, and can't be connected to an analog output. Please use 3.5mm audio jack to RCA adapter to get an analog sound
