No audio, Win 7

I have no audio from the mini jack S/PDIF with a new Fit PC2i (D1G C1600 W xxx), windows 7 enterprise otherwise successfully installed.
I have looked thru the posts, tried updating the High Def Audio Device driver (currently Microsoft 6.1.7600.16385, no better driver found), downloading 3 Audio drivers (win7_audio_idt_100124, win7_audio_100705 and Vista_Win7_R262 - all failed), the audio_patch (failed) and installing all windows updates.
Nothing has worked.
Can anyone help?

Hello

Please try to install fresh copy of windows 7, then install only the win7_audio_100705 driver. After rebooting please note if registry changes where updated successfully

I had already reinstalled Windows, and installing the _100705.exe worked this time, and automatically ran the audio_patch, which was also successful.
