Audio driver trouble

Post by linusn »

I am trying to get Windows XP to work in the Fit-PC.
Have an installation CD for SP2. Slipstreamed the Chipset drivers into it, to be able to install XP to the S-ATA drive. After installation I installed the network drivers and then downloaded and installed SP3.

Can't get audio to work. In Device Manager, there is a device called "Audio device on high definition audio bus", with a yellow exclamation mark next to it. From what I have read, this has something to do with Microsoft UAA. Under System Devices, the "Microsoft UAA driver for high definition audio" seem to be working.
I have downloaded the Audio drivers from the link in the Wiki. The installation program runs, and reboots the computer, but nothing changes.
Have tried to reinstall XP once, but can´t get it to work.
Any ideas?

If you are using fit-PC2 you should get the driver from www.fit-pc2.com/download/xp-drivers

If you are using fit-PC2i you should get the driver from www.fit-pc2.com/download/fit-pc2i/xp-fit-pc2i/

In both cases standard driver installation should work.

Thanks. Managed to find that through another thread.
