I have a new fit-PC2 with SSD and Win 7 Pro.
Goal is to use this PC in a very remote location and use remote desktop programs to access the PC.
No monitor or keyboard/mouse is to be placed with the fit-PC2.

I have the system set up and found out that I MUST have a HDMI connected monitor at the time of boot to get the video driver to set properties correctly.
Without the monitor connected at the HDMI port at time of boot, no video for remote desktop operation.

How can I set the video driver properties to operate headless without a monitor connected.
Or, do I need a special video driver??

Without a headless and reboot-able fit-PC2, I cannot use the PC.

Unfortunately, Fit-PC2 video drivers, support headless mode only on Windows XP

CompuLab will soon introduce a low-cost hardware solution to enable headless operation of fit-PC2/3 / Intense PC.

I have a fitpc2 on order with Windows7 preinstalled for headless operation and happened to find out about this issue just now.

Is there a rough timeframe for availability of the hardware fix? I need to decide wether I wait or install XP.
