Hi, is it possible with this driver to set up windows 7 for headless operation or I'll have to buy the headless hardware to do so?

Not always there is a need in fit-Headless. It depends on your application.
If you're using remote desktop connection to connect to your headless PC, there is no need in fit-headless, but when you're using VNC server there is a need.
I suggest to try before ordering.
