USB wireless broadband?

I am looking very seriously at a Linux fit-PC2i to serve as the wireless-broadband network hub for my home (rooms are wired Gig-E, which would plug into the fit-PC2i to go out on a wireless broadband Verizon (Novatel) USB adapter plugged into the fit-PC2i. Does this seem reasonable? Can I expect any USB wireless device to work, or is there a list of supported devices?

Also, when you say that wake-on-LAN will be supported later, does this mean via BIOS or OS updates? (One would hope.)

Thanks.

Wireless USB should work.
We are still testing WoL. It may require either BIOS update or Ethernet controller firmware update.
