duty, VAT et al. to Western Europe/Germany?
For direct order the homepage says one has to add duty and VAT. Did anyone from Germany or Western Europe order directly from CompuLab and can tell how much one has to add for these?
Re: duty, VAT et al. to Western Europe/Germany?
I shipped my Fit-PC2 from U.S. to Germany by mail. I had to pay 20% at local customs office. The rate should be exactly the same from Israel or any other Non-EU country.
HOWEVER: there are special agreements between Germany and Israel concerning duty. In general they say that you do not have to pay any duty. But it is up to you to find out whether this only applies for stuff you carry with you, receive by mail as a gift or receive by mail from a commercial sender.
It will never be more than 20% though.

I paid
US$ 348.74
+ EUR 58.40 Zoll
+ EUR 1.90 UPS-Gebühr
But, my fit-pc2 is worth every Cent ! My small Linux home server runs perfectly:
