fit-pc2i + Fedora 13: Issues with 2nd eth port

Hey,

Has anyone installed FC13 on fit-pc2i yet? I've had issues with an ethernet port just dying. Link light is on but no activity goes through. I've tried bring the ethernet up and down (via if-down/if-up and ip link command) and that doesn't change anything. It seems to only happen to the 2nd port (FC detects it as eth1) .

Also tried mii-tool and get an error stating it cannot find the mii interface. mii-tool works fine with eth0 (1st eth port).

Any ideas on how to troubleshoot? Trying to figure out whether it's a FC issue or hardware issue. Similar config on other non-fit-pc hardware not showing the same symptoms.

I have same problem, eth2 not work after same trafik.

eth1 wokrs OK.

if i ping eth2, no response at all. RX/TX packets counters not increase.

I want use Fit-pc2i to MRTG probe on 2 network, reason to 2 eth model.

but now fit-pc2 is waste of my money.

F13 or Ubuntu 10.04, same eth2 deadh problem.

Would be nice if this got some attention. I payed a premium to get 2 eth ports and now I'm forced to use one.

Fedora is not supported. You may install Ubuntu and check behavior. Then CompuLab engineering can support you through the Ubuntu sub-forum.
