IR Driver Installation

I received my fit-PC2 with the EventGhost installed but the IR drivers (AVR309) do not appear to be installed. Instead some Microsoft drivers are installed. When I try to update the drivers with the AVR309 drivers, Windows will not allow me to do so.

Can you provide any hints on what is the proper drivers for the IR port and how best to get them installed?
