Anyone still using 9.10 should consider an upgrade as this release has reached its End-of-Life date on May 1, 2011.

Recommended upgrade paths are:
- Ubuntu 10.04 LTS: estimated EOL is April 2013 (desktop) and April 2015 (server)
- Linux Mint 9 LTS
- Ubuntu 10.10: estimated EOL is April 2012
- Ubuntu 11.04: estimated EOLF is October 2012

The support period is now nearing its end and Ubuntu 9.10 will reach end of life on Friday, April 29, 2011. At that time, Ubuntu Security Notices will no longer include information or updated packages for Ubuntu 9.10.
