ubuntu 9.10 no sound after updating from fit-pc2 repo
Posted: Sat Dec 19, 2009 9:18 pm
I've been attempting to install mythbuntu on my fitpc2 without luck. The install completes without error. Booting from the hard drive for the first time, sound works, but no wireless, and 1024x768 video. After adding the fit-pc2 repos and updating I am able to reboot with full video, and wireless, but no sound device.
I've also tried loading Kubuntu, and Ubuntu with the same results. from a clean install, before loading fit-pc2 repos:

looks like realtek sound modules are being loaded in the initial install but not in after the update.
Anybody else seeing this sort of behavior?
