I reinstalled Ubuntu9.10 on my fit-PC last week. Until now, I used Ubuntu8.04
I also installed Skype2.1bete.
For skype, the speaker output is good. But for microphone input, the noise is so
terrible, it is almost can not hear clearly.
The default sounder recorder works OK.
I searched internet but could not get a solution.
Any advice will be useful.
Noise on microphone input of Skype2.1
Re: Noise on microphone input of Skype2.1
Is this using the microphone jack input on the back? If so try to use
the volume manager to turn of either left or right channel on the microphone (first you have to tick a box so th two channels are not locked together). When I did this the noise on skype disappeared.

Re: Noise on microphone input of Skype2.1
Thank for your reply.
I use the microphone jack input on the back.
There is not the item for choice of channels on the microphone input( but there is that
on output).
I have the first version of fit-PC2.
Need some other applications?
