I have got the same troubles with cutted edges on a Samsung Series 7 TV.
It was caused by the setting of the picture size on TV. Just avoid using 16:9 but use 'just scan'.

Hey guys,
I have a Samsung SyncMaster 23" TV which I connected to a Fit PC 2 through a HDMI cable. I to got the same problem as the original poster, and after some research, I found out that I had to Edit the source type of the HDMI slot to PC.
So on my samsung, for those that have similar models, click the source button, then click tools, select the HDMI port that the fit pc is connected through and click edit. highlight pc and the change should preview itself and should work, just select it and close the menu.
I've posted the instructions of the top of my head so it may differ every so slightly, but thats how I did it.
