If I remove the stick, it's boots just fine...
Does the new Fix-PC2 (JUST purchased directly from ComputerLab) support booting from USB?
Nothing I can find states that the case.
Thanks,
Gary Miyakawa

Yes. Chage boot sequence in BIOS.

Thank you! I'll check it out...
Now, if we could just get something that would allow us to power off the USB ports on a reboot.... (I have a USB to RS232 adapter and have seen it get "weird" and the only solution was to power the adapter off (unplug it) from the USB and plug it back it...) I've designed a turnkey product in the digital signage arena and getting people to unplug the computer is not really friendly..
Great box otherwise!
Thanks,

Maybe you can reset/rescan USB devices in software.

I tried the reset, no good... it takes a power off to reset it..
Thanks for the idea!

Fit-PC2i has a normal RS232 serial port that you can use (instead of the USB-to-serial converter).

Good point, but a little late since I already have the other units (and the pricing difference was an issue too).
Thank you for the information though !
