Bios Update 21-Apr-2010 SD Boot / SDHC support

Hi,

Bios Update 21-Apr-2010 release notes says:

Added SD boot and SDHC support for fit-PC2 rev 1.4 only
LCD clock default was changed to enabled

1) How do i know the revision of my Fit-PC2?

2) Is this update usable with every FitPC2?

Check revision by serial number - see http://fit-pc2.com/wiki/index.php?title ... _Revisions

SD boot will work only with rev 1.4, not with rev 1.21

Hi,

I flashed this to my FitPC2 version 1.21

Everything worked fine exept for the sound. Win7 decided that i have front, back and spdif connectors and that i have not plugged in speakers. It would only output sound over the "SPDIF" output.

I had to flash back to the older version.

Any ideas?

The audio issue you are describing was not verified yet but may be possible.
There are no changes that improve working with fit-PC2 rev 1.21.
I recommend staying with the older BIOS on fit-PC2 rev 1.21.
