Hello,

I'm trying to PXE boot to a WDS server, I keep getting Error 53.

When searching the forums, there are some other threads but never a resolution. Can the Fit-PC PXE Boot properly?

Other threads:

Thanks!

I updated the bios and now I'm getting the following error when I try to PXE Boot: "PXE-E52: proxyDHCP offers were received. No DHCP offers were received."

I also noticed that the GUID for the network adaptor is not unique....

The GUID is: 01010101-0101-0101-0101-010101010101

Ideas?

Here is an experimental BIOS for fit-PC2 (not fit-PC2i) with a new Realtek PXE code.
fit-PC2 users that experience problems with PXE boot are welcome to try it.

Do you plan to offer a new BIOS version for FitPc2i that could resolve those PXE boot errors ?

If the experimental BIOS is found to be working - we will integrate the relevant code in the next BIOS.

Did anyone manage to PXE boot successfully with the experimental BIOS? Also can anyone give me info on how the licensing work if we use PXE boot?

Thanks,
Timo

We are also wondering if there has ever been a successful update for Windows based FitPC2 that will allow a PXE boot. If so, how do I get a copy of the update?

Thank you.

PXE kicks-in before the operating system - so there is no relevance to Windows. The BIOS in this thread above is confirmed to have functional PXE.

Is there a BIOS planned for fit-PC2i ?
