How to get 1366x768 output!

Hi!

I've tried for hours now to set the resolution of my fit-pc2 to match the native resolution of my tv set.

The only thing that has worked so far is 1024X768 streched.

Are there any drivers that will fix this problem?

Please help!

Oh, sorry!

Win XP SP 3,
DX 9
Display driver Intel GMA 500 6.14.11.1016

I'm also experience problems during install of the driver "xp-display-iegd-10_1-090719" found on your support site. It seems to me that this driver would be crucial in order to get the hw acceleration working properly. I have a CPU load of 98% and loads of lag when watching a h.264 film in 720p using Mediaplayer classic and recommended codecs.

Regards!

- The GMA500 is using EDID protocol to negotiate supported resolutions with the display. Normally the display will report the native resolution as default and this will be selected. You may consult the TV user's manual for supported resolutions on the HDMI interface. You may also try another HDMI interface if available.

- The IEGD driver is not recommended in your setup.

- You need the CyberLink PowerDVD 8 SE drivers supplied with fit-PC2 XP HD to watch 720p video. CPU load is expected to be 15-20% in that setup.

Ok... Then I can forget about the IEGD driver for a while...

I tried installing a version of Cyberlink PowerDVD 8 Deluxe that I got bundeled with previous hardware... But it seems not to work... Still 98% cpu usage and loads of lag.

Are there any special settings you should use within the application?

I boutght the diskless version because i have a few extra XP licenses since I upgraded to Win 7 RC on my workstations. Can you get a version of Cyberlink DVD 8 tested for the Fit-pc2 through you?

Unfortunately we cannot sell the CyberLink codecs separately.

If you're going to add the Cyberlink Codecs to your Diskless Fit-PC2, you'll need Power DVD 9, plus the relevant update - see another post from the forum that i've quoted below.
mmr wrote:To have 1080P GMA 500 hardware acceleration. You need to have Cyberlink Power DVD 9. And download update (Build 1719) from cyberlink that has codecs for Intel GMA 500 platform.

The patch can be obtained from the below link for free if you have Cyberlink Power DVD 9 already.

http://www.cyberlink.com/downloads/supp ... en_US.html

Changes in PowerDVD 9 Build 1719 (2009-05-22)
:
* Windows 7 32-bit/64-bit compatibility support with High DPI solution
* Vista 64-bit compatibility support
* NVIDIA CUDA optimization for TrueTheater HD
* Netbook/Nettop small display resolution support
* Intel GMA500 (Menlow) platform support

Hope this helps.

Still problems with 1366x768 output...

Nothing wrong with TV according to manufacturer...

Could you force the driver to 1366x768 resolution?

The patch for Cyberlink power DVD worked wonders! Thanks!!

To irads:

Maybe you should include a link to this patch in the driver topic?
